Esta norma Venezolana establece los requisitos de fabricación, y ensayos de las válvulas de compuerta aislantes con asiento elástico, empleadas en los diferentes sistemas de acueductos. Adicionalmente, contempla requisitos para almacenaje, transporte, instalación, mantenimiento y reparación. Esta norma sólo aplica a las válvulas de vástago ascendente y no ascendente en su serie milimétrica destinadas a acueductos. |
