Esta Norma Venezolana establece los requisitos que deben cumplir los calzados de seguridad, de protección y de trabajo para:<br/><br/>a) Reducir la severidad del daño a los pies del usuario contra impactos, fuerzas compresoras y acción de solventes. <br/>b) Ofrecer protección en la realización de los trabajos de contacto accidental con equipos o partes energizadas eléctricamente.<br/>c) Establecer las características de los materiales, diseños y fabricación necesarios, para proveer la protección y la comodidad para el cual ha sido diseño. |
