Esta Norma Venezolana tiene por objeto describir un método para determinar la resistencia del papel al desgarro. Puede emplearse también con cartones de poco gramaje, siempre y cuando su resistencia al desgarro esté dentro del rango de medida del aparato. No es aplicable a los cartones ondulados, pero puede aplicarse a los papeles componentes de los mismos. No es apropiada para determinar la resistencia al desgarro en la dirección transversal de los papeles (o cartones) de estructura muy orientada. |
