Esta Norma Venezolana establece el control estadístico de proceso (CEP) [SPC, de sus siglas en Ingles] tiene que ver con el uso de técnicas estadísticas y/o algoritmos de control estadístico o estocástico con el propósito de alcanzar uno o más de los siguientes objetivos:<br/>a) aumentar el conocimiento acerca de un proceso;<br/>b) ajustar un proceso para que se comporte de la manera deseada;<br/>c) reducir la variación de los parámetros del producto final, o mejorar el desempeño del proceso de alguna otra manera. |
