Esta Norma Venezolana establece el método de ensayo para determinar el índice de madurez y una estimación de la densidad lineal de las fibras de algodón midiendo por medio del micronaire la resistencia de una masa de fibra de algodón al paso de flujo de aire antes y después de que las fibras hayan sido tratadas con una solución de hidróxido de sodio (NaOH). |
