Esta norma Venezolana está dirigida a edificaciones de vivienda, oficinas, comercios, naves industriales, hangares, escuelas, hospitales, teatros, iglesias, entre otras, de comportamiento tipificable, construidas con los materiales permitidos (concreto, madera, adobe, aluminio, acero doblado en frio), empleando las normas de diseño respectivas y cuyo desempeño sísmico previsto corresponda a tres grados de amenaza sísmica denominados Sismo de Diseño, Sismo Extremo y Sismo Frecuente. |
