Esta norma establece los requisitos y especificaciones nutricionales que garanticen la inocuidad de los alimentos para el consumo de cerdos (Sus scrofa domestica) en sus distintos estados fisiológicos o etapas de cría, protegiendo así tanto la salud animal como la salud humana. |

Esta norma se aplica a los requisitos y especificaciones zoosanitarias que determinan los parámetros que deben cumplir los productos alimenticios destinados al consumo de cerdos, para evitar que constituyan un riesgo a la salud animal y humana. Aplica a todas las personas naturales o jurídicas que formulen, elaboren, importen, almacenen, distribuyan y comercialicen dichos productos. |
